Thinner guide
Match the thinner to the paint
The wrong thinner causes blushing, wrinkling, poor gloss or slow drying. Use this as a starting point and tell us your paint brand; we will confirm the right grade.

Dilution ranges are typical starting points only. Always follow the technical data sheet of your paint manufacturer for mixing ratio, viscosity and pot life. Thinners are flammable; store away from heat and use with ventilation.
